Equipment

  • Silicon molds

Ingredients

  • 5 tsp gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cup pure unsweetened fruit juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice optional, for tartness
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup 1-2 tbsp to taste
  • 1 cup frozen fruit (mango, peaches or strawberries)
  • 7 tsp Verdure Kid's Complete multivitamin powder

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium low heat, mix 1/2 cup of the juice with the gelatin powder and whisk to combine, making sure there are no lumps.
  • Heat slowly until gelatin is fully dissolved. Do not let it boil. It should coat the back of a spoon.
  • While heating, in a blender or magic bullet, blend fruit until smooth
  • In a heat proof bowl mix: 1/2 cup fruit juice, lemon juice and maple syrup and 7 tsp Verdure Kid's Complete and warm gently. Whisk until fully dissolved.
  • Add gelatin mixture and remaining 1/2 cup of blended fruit to the bowl and whisk until incorporated.
  • Pour into molds; small silicone candy molds work well. Refridgerate until fully set; about 1 hour, or put in the freezer.
  • When solidified, remove the gummies from the molds and place in a sealed container. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week. Serve 1/7 of the gummies daily. Enjoy!
